 ier – saxophones\, clarinet \n\nManu Codjia - guitar \n\nGautier Garrigue
 – drums\n\n\n\nWith “Healing Songs”\, Henri Texier looks back on six decad
es of musical creation. In the face of an increasingly disturbing world\,
the French bassist has selected nine earlier compositions that have brough
t him comfort and whose power he now wishes to share with his audience. To
gether with a newly formed quintet\, he reinterprets these pieces in the c
lassic hard bop lineup. Between lyrical melodies\, powerful grooves and op
en improvisations\, a music emerges that connects memory and the present –
  and seeks to convey hope.
